The University of Western Australia is providing scholarships to top-performing students worldwide who are studying with us.
The Scholarship is granted to the top-performing graduate and undergraduate students from a select group of countries applying for specific programs at the university.
Suppose you’re planning to pursue a degree in Australia from 2022 onwards. In that case, students at the undergraduate level can get scholarships that range from $40,000 over four years on eligible courses or AUD$36,000 for three years. Postgraduate students can be awarded up to AUD$24,000 for two years of eligible studies.
A maximum of AUD$48,000 for four years for undergraduates who begin eligible courses by 2022.
The maximum is AUD$36,000 for three years for students who begin eligible courses by 2022.
A maximum of AUD$24,000 for two years to postgraduate students who begin in 2022 and are enrolled in eligible courses.

Award details
The Scholarship is a one-time tuition-free reduction for the full-time duration of the program, as stated in their letter of acceptance. The amount of the Scholarship can be calculated by the applicant’s comparable admission to the Australian Tertiary Rank (ATAR) (or UWA, the weighted average marks (WAM).

General eligibility
- You must be a citizen of one of the nations in these countries.
- I have been offered a postgraduate or undergraduate degree from The University of Western Australia.
- They have also achieved the following:
- ATAR of 88.00 – 98.00+; or
- WAM of 70.00 – 85.00+
- If they are studying the approved International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program), Students must have attained a WAM equivalent of at least 75.00
Undergraduate eligibility
The applicant must have an undergraduate bachelor’s eligible degree or an Assured Pathway course to get the Scholarship. These exclusions are in effect:
- Assured Pathway to Medicine
- Assured Pathway to Pharmacy
- Secure Pathway to Dental Medicine

All Bachelor’s degrees that are combined and Master’s degrees are eligible.
Most of these degrees span four years (based on eight semesters of full-time studies). The degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), and Bachelor of Science; is longer than five years (based upon ten years of full-time studying) and, therefore, eligible students could receive as much as $60,000over five years (yearly the amount is calculated based on WAM.
