To acknowledge the hard work of students who want to attend college at a university in America, USA, San Jose State University is pleased to provide Merit as well as Leadership Impact Scholarships for international students. Applications are open for the academic year 2022-2023.
International applicants with an average GPA in the range of 3.5 or more is eligible to apply. The awardwill be awarded to selected students for graduate or undergraduate studies on a semester-by-semester basis. The winners will be chosen by an extensive and comprehensive evaluation of all application materials which include essays, GPA, test scores and other evidence of academic ability and academic performance.

Eligibility Requirements
- Countries Eligible Students from all countries have the right to submit an application.
- Eligible Subjects or Courses The applicants are eligible to apply for an undergraduate or graduate program available at San Jose State University.
- Criteria for Eligibility: To become eligible, applicants must meet the criteria listed below:
- Candidates must also be enrolled at SJSU for the upcoming academic year.
- The candidates must have an average total GPA that is 3.5 or more.
- The student must be able to show at least a 2.5 cumulative college or institutional GPA (from the 0.0 to 4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the degree they have completed or an 2.5 GPA within the last 2 years full time education at a bachelor’s level from an institution that is accredited by a regional authority or the four-year bachelor’s degree at an accredited, recognized and regulated institution from an outside country of the U.S.
